Kimberlee Wilkens presents at MEDI Conference

Assistant Professor of Industrial Design, Kimberlee Wilkens, who holds an affiliate appointment in the Department of Urology, presented at the 2018 MEDI Conference, a urology-focused gathering of clinicians, designers, engineers and scientists intended to inspire and foster innovation through collaboration. Kimberlee presented on her perspective as a designer working towards making advancements in healthcare, specifically the important role that prototyping plays throughout every step of the design process. 

The conference was held at the UIC Innovation Center and presented by the UIC Urology Department.
