UIC AIGA Student Group Wins 2017 Boost Grant

For the third consecutive year, the UIC AIGA Student Group has been awarded the Boost Grant.

Entitled Design for Education, the project proposed by the UIC team responds to AIGA Chicago’s commitment to design initiatives that promote community outreach and civic engagement. UIC’s project will provide design support to Chicago HOPES for Kids, an education focused non-profit organization.

AIGA Chicago is committed to creating opportunities for design students to engage with the broader community. Active student groups submit proposals for funding of projects intended to bring greater exposure to their work or innovative ideas that need help getting off the ground. This year, the chapter has awarded two Boost Grants.
