UIC HGK Basel Master of Design Reviews

Final reviews for students studying in the UIC HGK Basel MDes Program were conducted on site at the FHNW HGK campus in Basel, Switzerland, on Wednesday, September 7, and Thursday September 8, 2016. Students who completed the program this year are Hala Al-Ani, Rasha Dakkak, and Nakwon Seo.

Pictured: Hala Al-Ani presents her masters thesis, Volunary Traces. Hala's project criticizes, and takes inspiration from, the desctruction of old buildings in Dubai—acts that strip away evidence of the city's history in favor of high-gloss highrise structures.
